Pumpkin HARVESTING....

This is a girl that loves to shop for fabric. Something about walking into a fabric store just gets my blood pumping. There is a special smell and aura of the calls to me. And the fact that I have been sewing for many years and I never get tired of it. (Of course, let's not go into the closet of "sewing projects" bought for and never finished.)

But when it is fall, I love to gather fabrics for my velvet pumpkins and well anything else I can gather and it. Here are a few of the lovelies I have been "gathering".

And Saturday night I found the coolest black fabric that is all nubby and wonderful....hmmm.

  1. So cute! What do you make the stems out of? I can't tell by looking at it!

  2. Oh my gosh. Those are SO stinkin' cute!

Found you at Under the Table and Dreaming.

  3. Love your pumpkins! The velvets are so lush and the twisted stems contrast perfectly. I hear you on the fabric stash, I have five bookcases full that I USE, with more in storage. Can't help it. ;0) BTW, your watercolor painting is stunning. Gorgeous. I'll hop over there and add more superlatives.

  4. I love the velvet pumpkins!!! They are so rich looking!!

And I like the idea of buttons for the stem too. :)
